I have recently begun to monitor my credit card bills.
averagely, they come up to around two thousand dollars a month.
that is too much money spent. way too much.
but then again, the stuff i buy, like clothings, comestics & toiletries are but regular items and not really very expensive. so how come my expenses are so high??
should i cave up myself and hide at home? dont step out, wont spend money?
that wont work too. but i must really do something about this because it does not serve me spending too much.

Since many years, the way I control my expenses is by noting everything down. I use Excel and my every day expenses are typed in. Of course, this does not prevent me from spending. In fact, the more I earn, the more I spend. But I know that I won't overspend. And when I realised that at some months I overspent due to birthday gifts, X'mas, holidays, I will cut down my expenses for the following months. If you have the discipline, that may help. No need to cave up and hide at home. :)
BTW, from the Sg blogs I read, it seems that everything has increased in price in Singapore. Maybe you are not to be blamed.
